My current research involves digital citizenship, smart communities, and IT for cultural heritage, focusing especially on the role of digital networks as tools for cooperative work and citizen participation. I also work as project manager and designer on social and civic innovation projects in partnership with local government, private enterprise, and third sector organizations.

I managed and carried out in field activities on the following projects:- Digital participation platform for the Municipality of Milan: analysis of the participation processes of the Municipality of Milan; platform designing, use cases, personas and scenarios identification- Digital Participation platform for the Municipality of Zola Predosa (BO): analysis of the requirements, configuration and management of the Decidim platform to support the municipality participation processes;- Bassa Reggiana Community Hub: participatory process for the construction of the Local Digital Agenda and the Regulation for Commons and Active Citizenship. Process design, project management, workshop facilitation.- Vigolzone Partecipa: participatory budget of the Municipality of Vigolzone. Designer, Researcher, Project Manager - “Le Cascine Della Lomellina” ProjectCurmà Società Cooperativa Oct 2010 - May 2011VogheraThe “Participatory Mapping of Heritage from Lomellina Farmsteads” project, funded by the Province of Pavia, the Lomellina Ecomuseo, and GAL Lomellina, developed a web environment to improve access to Region of Lombardy data about farmsteads in the Lomellina area. The information was made accessible to non-expert users through a four-stage initiative. First, the farmsteads were identified and mapped. Second, fieldwork gathered data on 35 farmsteads chosen for their historical importance. Eyewitnesses to the agricultural lifestyle of the farmsteads were then video interviewed delving into their intangible heritage. Finally, a website to share the outcomes of research and promote the farmstead heritage was designed and developed.Conceived and designed project. Research included holding video-interviews with local actors. Conceived, designed, and managed online map of Lomellina farmsteads.
