Working in prof. M.F. Cordeiro's group at the Institute of Ophthalmology of UCL to complete the PhD course in "Neuropharmacology". The project was about the role of Homocysteine in retinal neurodegeneration.Achievements: - in vitro: tissue culture (primary and immortalized) and cell viability.- in vivo: personal licence on mice, rats and rabbits.- immunohystochemestry on eye and brain.- confocal microscopy and fluorescence microscopy.-The work had been presented on ARVO annual meeting, being recognized as an "hot topic"

Liaise with AISFA (Italian Pharmaceutical Students' Association) and EPSA (European Pharmaceutical Students' Association), discussing about role of pharmacy students' with other organizations, associations, planning events, inform students about activities and conferences.

Co-organizer of the EPSA Annual Congress 2013, Catania, hosting about 300 students from all over Europe to follow Educational Programmes, meeting professionals, and organizing leisure activities. The main tasks had been: working in cooperation with EPSA and the University of Catania, liaising with public authority, team working with the Reception Committee and Scientific Committee, and organizer of 5th EPSA Alumni Weekend.

Promoting IMP (Individual Mobility Project, a project ragards internships in Europe) in Italy to Students, Universities and Pharmaceutical Companies; first-step selecting italian trainee for IMP offers; seeking the possibility to create internships offers for european pharmacist students in Italian Companies and Universities.

AISFA (Association of Italian Pharmaceutical Students), Catania (Italy) Founder of AISFA Local Committe based in Catania, team leader, liaise with AISFA National Team and students, and University of Catania.

Students' delegate within a Commettee which is working on leisure activities inside University: organizing sports activities, balls, sport competitions between all different schools in University.

On 2009 the Newsletter of Faculty of Pharmacy was enstablished. The role of Editor consisted in involve students in writing news regards the School of Pharmacy and University, writing articles, and assure the publication.

The aim of educational committe is discussing and improving the education within the School of Pharmacy in a small board composed by Dean, 5 professors and a students for each course of the School.

Represent students at the school of pharmacy board, discussing problem, difficulties, solving problems, promote activities and educational from students' point of view.

NMUN draws a diverse group of informed college/university students and faculty from around the world to address current global issues. It provide students with a better understanding of the inner workings of the UN and a forum to hone skills in diplomacy, negotiation, critical thinking, compromise, public speaking, writing, and research. NMUN’s New York conference culminate at UN Headquarters with thousands of students in attendance. NMUN is a simulation a diplomacy working at United Nation, in New York. Achievment obtained during the simulation:- Writing a position paper from Austria (as UNICEF delegate from this Nation)- Public speaking and negotiation, discussing the problem of justice and prison in childhood- Writing a position paper in team with other delegates of UNICEF- Discussion with UN austrian delegates at austriac consulate- The position paper wrote with other members was voted at General Assembly
