Giuliana Lezzoche Email and Phone Number
I was born in Taranto, Italy where I completed my high school education and obtained my Cambridge certificates. In 2016 I moved to Germany and spent some time learning German and the new culture. I then graduated in 2021 from the Maastricht Science Programme, an honours program of the Maastricht University on Genetics and Cell Biology. In 2023 I completed my MSc Degree in Biomedical Science with specialisation in Genetics and Genomics. During the internship period of my MSc I started working on my PhD project regarding the transcriptional changes occurring in the heart of patients affected by the Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome (HGPS). I will continue working on this amazing topic as a PhD candidate for the CARIM Research Institute in Maastricht under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Leon de Windt.
