Assign tasks and direct a team of approximately thirty staff, including Finance, Sales and Operations departments. At this position, I reduced waste and boosted productivity while overseeing daily financial functions, like payroll, accounting, accounts payable and receivable. I also developed effective strategies to company's turnaround, by managing cash flows accurately projected. Besides that, I aggregate and analyze historical costs data to prepare budgets, track actual expenses against projected expenses, and assist upper-level decision making by creating comprehensive financial reports.

Besides my corporate counsel duties of managing contract negotiations, legal compliance and court lawsuits, a financial crisis, similar to Chapter 11 in the US, compelled me to assume additional legal responsabilities, I had to learn procedures, prepare and file documents with bankruptcy Court within expected timeframes. In order to promote the necessary corporate reorganization to redefine organizational structure and maintain company activities, I helped create a turnaround business plan, which was negotiated, voted and approved by the major creditors, leading to the judge's confirmation.

As a Marketing Supervisor, I devised and deployed successful marketing strategies, using design-thinking techniques. I directed the redesigning process of company's visual identity and communication materials. I also developed new sales tools, including presentations, trend reports and product data sheets.

My duties included identifying and recommending changes to existing operational processes to improve accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness of customer service. I also researched tax issues related to company's products, in order to reliably calculate costs for project-specific goods. Due to increasing customer demand I had to implement the ISO 9001 Quality Standard as part of my additional duties as Quality Coordination supervisor. This experience provided me with an invaluable sense of systemic vision which would become critically important in my later positions with this company.

At my first position at this company, I learned Personnel Department and Human Resources routines, like calculate salaries, rate changes, benefits, overtime, vacation and termination. I processed forms to assist new hires, organized and filed documents, and served as company representative at internal commision of accident prevention. Due to my legal knowledge, I have also reviewed compensation and benefits policies, employment agreements and contracts, to comply with legal requirements and avoid labor liabilities.

I worked as a clerk, following-up civil and criminal hearings at Judge's Cabinet. When there were no hearings in progress, I prepared orders and drafts of less complex sentences. It was a great opportunity to put knowledge into practice, learn different issues by reading lawsuits, get used to court environment and also deal with judges, court officials, lawyers, convicts and the general public.

Working as an Innovation Agent within the companies of "Vale da Eletrônica", also known as "Brazilian Silicon Valley", I participated in the steps of Training and Diagnosis inside Exsto Tecnologia and Amarok companies, in order to qualify them to develop an Innovation Management Plan. After earlier qualification trainings, it was part of my work to conduct interviews and apply questionnaires to the businesses' entrepreneurs and employees, intending to identify the innovation status at those companies.

As a fellow of the scholarship promoted by FAI and FAPEMIG, I studied the National Solid Waste Policy, which would require many changes for local electronics firms.
