Events manager for Fashion projects

External collaborator dealing with international press and organizing the MFW fashion shows. I work on the lists for the fashion shows, contacting international press and celebrities and making sure they attend the shows through PR and recalls. At the shows I am usually located at the door and after the show I deal with interviews with the designers, and I am staying at the door of the backstage in order to select the people that needs to get in into the backstage.I also deal with the production of the show, from the models casting, the booking, sending out of invites, seating plan, planimetries, etc.

I am a lecturer in the famous European Design Institute teaching events and specifically fashion shows. I manage a course where I show the students an overview of all the topics to be dealt in the organization of a fashion show. I teach them how to do a casting through composites, how to do a seating plan, how to deal with a planimetry, how to organize the spaces, where to place photographers, buyers, press and celebrities. I teach them which celebrities are suitable for a specific brand and how to do a successful fitting.

I have been dealing with journalists, writing press releases, interviews and the corporate communication. I have been working with stylists, choosing with them the clothes and accessories for shootings , coordinating with the retail department in order to understand the items to be pushed. I have kept relationship with top costumers, studying specific situations for them. I have organized trunk shows, and in-store events in order to push the sales and to grow the brand awareness. I have been dealing with celebrities, creating the image of some of them, styling them, organizing the fittings and inviting them to the top events. I have been organizing fashion shows in Milan, Paris and London, dealing with press, celebrity and the production of the whole show in Milan, from seating plans to invites, celebrities and backstage interviews. I have been organizing several events and cocktails like the press days, the Vogue’s Fashion Night out, Design week, trunk shows, cocktails in the most luxurious hotels and spots in the city.

In charge of the collections, the three lines, from the premium to the diffusion and the accessories. I have been working with stylist to show them the product in the best possible way in order for them to publish the product for the most prestigious magazines worldwide. My work has always been done in partnership with the retail team, to better understand the products to be pushed form a commercial point of view on the global markets and on the ecommerce. At the same time I have always been communicating with the Italian store manager to always keep an eye on the items that needed to be promoted since they were available on the Italian market. At the same time I was dealing with celebrities, targeting the right people and giving them the image the brand wanted to have, through fittings and through a complete styling.

During my experience at University I have been chosen in a small group that aimed at the creation of the historical archive for the brand, once it has been bought by the Gucci group. I have had the chance to do a big historical research consulting vintage Vogue and other historical top magazine and a big amount of other precious stuff. The research in the Biblioteca Serbelloni took me several months, and after this I received a letter by the Bottega Veneta CEO thanking me for the successful results.
