Anna + Nina is a fast-growing and young company, and I started working here as a round creative, on many projects, from jewellery to clothing, homeware and prints, and exclusive collaborations. At the moment, I am following the jewellery and clothing collections from concept until the first steps with production, working alongside the founders.

After my internship at Viktor & Rolf, I started freelancing at Ninamounah, designing and translating ideas thought pattern-making and draping. Other tasks included assisting at fittings, fixing prototypes and helping interns on daily needs.

I continued my internship in the Design team, working on all the ready-to-wear lines, womenswear and menswear, with a dynamic role and various tasks. I was doing research, creating collages and moodboards, draping toiles, studying finishing’s mock ups and stitching the final prototype. The team encouraged me to work with materials, especially developing many embellishment as flowers and leaves, bows and ruffles and designing artworks. I proposed to use various techniques as beading, patchwork, embroidery and layering of different fabrics. I also helped in preparing tech packs and overviews for the production. Ultimately I was assisting during photoshoots. While in the Haute Couture I learnt to be patience and to dedicate a lot of time to one sample, in the ready-to-wear I developed many options in a short time period. In November 2018 I started my internship as atelier assistant at Viktor&Rolf Haute Couture, working on the SS19 collection, being responsible of the embroideries and embellishments, hand stitching the artworks and placing them on the garments. I worked with laser cutted tulle artworks, in which every tulle layer was in a different color and weight, in order to make a pleasant color shade and a dynamic touch and feel. After my graduation I worked as freelance graphic designer for Centex, developing prints and textiles for SS2020. I learnt to interpret the research into figurative free hand drawings -using Procreate- and geometrical patterns. Because I showed a natural interest about the translation into fabric, I was asked to propose the color combinations options for each design I made. I was ultimately working on the technical sheets for the production.
