- Performing static and dynamic mechanical analyses using Nastran, Hyperworks and Ls-Dyna tools- System Design, using SolidWorks- Performance of stress/displacement, strength and buckling analyses for structural components of satellites and launchers- Documentation and archiving of all activities, mathematical models and analysis and test results- Bolted Joints sizing- Trade-offs and preliminary structural analysis for pressurised lines and bracket - Design and fatigue analysis of the mechanical resonator for a piezoelectric energy harvester- Participating in feasibility studies for the preparation of specifications and analysis of industrial proposals- Providing functional support to approved projects and feasibility studies in relation to all aspects of mechanical systems and configuration, structural design, analysis and mechanical testing- Identifying critical development problems and assisting in their resolution, which includes evaluating complete mechanical systems.
