I am and ambitious athlete who has been playing sports since the age of 3. When I was younger, I did not know what career I would want to purse in, however I knew that sports are what I have a passion for. With the understanding of how the sport industry works and knowledge of all sports I knew pursuing a career in sports would be what is best for me. I am currently in my second year at Humber College in Sports Management program. I am gaining experience in courses such as event management, human resource, risk management, facility operations, public relations, and program management. I am also a student athlete playing outfield for the Humber Collage Baseball Team. I have been playing baseball for 8 years and prior to baseball I played soccer. Sports has always been an interest and while pursuing my education my passion will lead to a career in the business of sport.I am gaining knowledge and practical experience in my time at Humber College through hands on learning and volunteer opportunities I am a passionate individual who is knowledgeable, has a strong work ethic, possesses effective problem-solving skills, works well on a team but a leader takes initiative to complete tasks with little direction. I survive to do my best in everything I put my mind to. If you ask what my friends would think of me, they will say I am compassionate, understanding, great listener and have a really great sense of humor. As a sport management student, I’m open to volunteer opportunities and or internship placements in the field of Sport marketing, ticket sales and operations. These positions are where I believe I am best suited for and provide the most value to companies.
