In the same year I attended the Course on Management and Communication organized by ISVOR on behalf of SNIA BPD.In September 1992 I moved to the Research Group of the Cardio Division of Sorin. I worked on co-financed national projects on intravenous miniaturized chemical sensors (1992-1993) and biosensors for biochemical parameters in the field of health (1993-1996) writing also the periodic reports. I have also worked on the development of a sensor for continuous measurement of urea during dialysis in a joint project with the manufacturer of dialysis machines Bellco SpA. In 1995 following a reorganization of the Sorin group the Central Research was created and I have worked as a researcher until 1998 on several projects: anti-calcification chemical treatments for tissue heart valves, biodegradable de-foamer for oxygenators, vascular prosthesis coated with bioabsorbable polymers, development of a system for capturing antibodies in plasma apheresis and synthesis of a new class of near-infrared fluorescent markers for immunoassays and PCR.3 patent applications: 1. A method and a system for measuring the concentration of a substance in a fluid, and the use thereof, 2. A method and equipment for detecting physico-chemical parameters, 3. Sulfo Benz[e]indocyanine Fluorescent Dyes.
