More than ten years of experience in the R&D on ion sources for Particle Accelerator and plasma diagnostics in axisymmetric plasma traps for plasma phyisics applications. I developed and commissioned:1) the VIS source for proton and H2+ beam generation (60 mA CW protons, 20 mA CW H2+ ). 2) The Proton Source for the European Spallation Source project (100 mA in pulsed wave). 3) Two Plasma Traps for studies on plasma phyisics and commissioning of tools for invasive and non-invasive plasma diagnostics (more than 40 papers about plasma physics and plasma diagnostics).4) The AISHa source, an ECRIS source for Hadrontherapy purpose with focus on C4+, O6+, He2+ and metal beams (in progress).Expertize in diagnostics of magnetized plasmas, in particular: Optical Emission Spectroscopy, X-ray spectroscopy, Langmuir Probe diagnostics During my career, I developed and commissioned ECRIS devoted to nuclear and medical applications (AISHa ion source) along with proton sources for Neutron Spallation Sources (ESS collaboration).
