I started working with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in 2018, as Quality Assurance Auditor and then as QA specialist. This role allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the principles of GLP, which are crucial to ensure the integrity, reliability, and traceability of laboratory data. My responsibilities involve a range of critical activities that are essential to maintaine the highest standards of quality as well as the responsibility and management of the Quality Assurance Unit of the Test Facility. In addition to my GLP work, I have a decade of experience in molecular diagnostics of plant diseases (in particular, phytoplasma, plant virus and viroid). I played a key role in the establishment of a startup specializing in phytodiagnostic services.My background in molecular diagnostics includes:• Pathogen Identification: Utilizing advanced molecular techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction, PCR end-point, qPCR, LAMP-PCR, ELISA test. • Development and Validation of Diagnostic Kits: I have a strong track record in developing and implementing diagnostic protocols (based on different molecular techniques as well as LAMP PCR), including a patented method and a recognized technique for Flavescence dorée and Bois Noir (multiplex qPCR) detection published in the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO).
