Responsible of supporting and defining materials for gas turbine components. Consolidate the competencies on special processes. Support projects aimed at developing and testing new coatings and nondestructive examinations techniques for components life extension.Responsible of qualification process, from FAI to Final Production Release, of Precision Investment Castings, Forgings, Coatings, Drilling, Welding processes.Development and improvement of Repair Processes related to HGP components and Rotors overhaul. Support component repair evaluation and remnant life assessment. Revise and follow-up of technical reports and Customers advice of repair related issues.Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting assigned tasks to meet objectives in terms of accuracy, completeness and time. Management and disposition of Supplier Deviation Requests on new and repaired components.

Work in a global team developing new products and supporting activities of already designed parts. Responsible for Inspection & Repair activities of HGP.Support shop documentation and help in process development of procedures. Assist in the investigation of Customer complaints and internal non-conformances to ensure effective root cause analysis. Manage and dispose Supplier Deviation Requests on new and repaired components.Work in conjunction with Quality and Supply Chain departments to support Suppliers qualification.Continual improvement of products and processes to optimize on Quality, Cost & Service Excellence.

Responsible for design activities pertaining to gas path part codes, including 2D/3D modelling, failure analyses, detail mechanical design analysis and drafting.Responsible in development of new products, from Preliminary Design to final Validation Tests.Work with the Supply Chain, supporting deviation requests resolution and Suppliers qualifications.Participate to cost out activities aimed at simplifying processes and replace expensive with cheaper materials.Work within a global team, to provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned projects.
