Fourth generation, Chairman of Lavazza Group and member of the Board of Directors of Giuseppe and Pericle Lavazza Onlus Foundation and President of the Maria Teresa Lavazza Foundation. Coffee is a social ritual: it does not only represent a daily pleasure, but also a vector of sustainable and cultural growth, both for us and for the communities that cultivate and live it. Here lays the reason why I highlight the positive value generated by coffee in continuous research made of innovation, sustainability and attention to quality and to the people with whom we cooperate. It is a passion that we have been carrying on since Luigi Lavazza opened the first grocery store in Turin in 1895 and which over time has enabled us to collaborate with other institutions and bring to life extraordinary stories. In this path towards a perfect blend that unites all the protagonists of the coffee supply chain, the precompetitive relationships and the trust that is created with the communities where we operate are fundamental and, both as a member of the Lavazza Foundation Board of Directors and as a member of the Steering Committee of International Coffee Partners, I am committed to give my contribution to promoting dedicated programs to support coffee producers. In 2019 I had the honor of being named Cavaliere del Lavoro, like my father Emilio in 1991.
