After finishing High School in Sardinia in 2015, I moved to UK and spent 5 years living in Manchester. I decided to study & later work as Graphic Designer and joined various artistic projects mostly linked to music and visual arts. In the meantime, I've been mostly reading and learning on topics such as Psychology, Sociology & Sustainability and how could Design Thinking be applied to those.In late 2020, I felt the need to get closer to Sustainable projects and decided to leave UK to study & practice Permaculture in Portugal. In late 2021 I moved back to Italy to visit & learn more about Ecovillages & Intentional Communities for a few years. In 2023 I took on a ESC Opportunity (European Solidarity Corps) and volunteered as Graphic Designer for GEN Europe, the European Network of Ecovillages.In 2024, I'm living in & supporting an intentional community in-person in Italy and supporting a project that aims to bring Youth & Digital Nomads closer to Intentional Communities (Digi-Tribe eCo-Living) in order to let inspire each other (people from rural and urban settings) on lifestyles & tools on topics such as Sustainability & Community Living.Regarding my passions, I love playing music (I also compose, check @joemurarts on IG!) & explore various ways for visual art expression, such as photography, film-making & more!
