To establish, maintain and disseminate the safety management doctrine in the operational activities; To manage the crisis management system, including the crisis management cell; To take part in operational audits; To field the “accidents investigation team” (CTA); To maintain Safety expertise in operational teams; To audit the internal HSE management systems; To integrate the Security rules in the Affiliate referential; To take part in the actions dealing with security coordinated by the corporate Security division; To ensure that the Security aspects are taken in consideration in the design of the facilities – in the pre-projects and the projects – and in the management systems of the affiliate; To check that action plans developed following Security audits.To establish, maintain and circulate the environment management doctrine in E&P activities; To coordinate the performance of environmental studies (base line – impact studies) all along the different phases of the E&P processes, from the acquisition to relinquishment of the sites; To assist the pre-projects, the project and the affiliate in the respect of environmental rules, defining environmental objectives and associated action means, take part in project technical reviews and environmental audits and reviews on sites; To assist the affiliate in developing onshore oil spill contingency plans (OSCP); To establish the safety specifications necessary to design the installations for the projects; To control the application of these specifications by the functional divisions in charge of the safety engineering studies necessary to the realization of the conceptual studies, the preproject studies and the engineering studies of construction of installations and to their future exploitation; To take part in the control of the validation processes of the projects, being guaranteeing internals rules and specifications (reviews: HAZID, HAZOP, …);
