Casti Group. Company founded and managed by the Castiglioni family, organized by divisions: Metal Stamping, General Contractor, Iron and aluminium foundries, Real Estate. The motorcycle division (Cagiva and MV Agusta) was spin-off, and managed by his brother Claudio Castiglioni, after selling the brand Ducati, Moto Morini and Husquarna. I held the position of Director of the Metal Stamping Division, with responsibility for the management and coordination of companies: SIAC (small stamping metal), Capica (still production for fashion market), Giovanni Castiglioni Co. (a leading manufacturer of combination locks for stowage), and Algat, Company where I was also appointed as General Manager. Algat, acquired in 2005 by the bankruptcy trustee, is a company expert in cold forming of sheet metal, with three manufacturing sites: San Carlo Canavese (TO), Cuneo and Val Greghentino (North of Italy). The direction is in San Carlo Canavese, where it is also established institution of logistic and planning, administration and purchasing for all factories. San Carlo plant is specialized in the process of "fine blanking".

Euroweld was the sole Italian company expert in laser welding technology for the production of flat sheet Multi-thickness, intended for the automotive industry to stiffen the chassis while making it safer and lighter. Euroweld turnover at that time was 18 billion lire (old Italian coin), with a production of 2.2 km of linear welding / year and 50 employees.In 2002 Thyssen sold its participation to Voestalpine, the Austrian steelmaker, where I kept the position of CEO. With the arrival of the multinational organization we entered the circuit, taking advantage both of steel technology and investment plans of the Group. In short time we have brought Euroweld turnover to an average of over € 45 ml per year (equal to 90 billion lire of the old Italian coin), 70 employees and a production up to 5.5 km per year of welding, introducing also the non linear welding process, and internationalizing clients portfolio. In the plan of acquisition of new businesses, and aiming at an integrated process of vertical production, we have participated in the process of outsourcing set out by Fiat, detecting the field of molding and assembly of the Fiat Rivalta (TO), creating a new subsidiary, with same percentage of shares, of Voestalpine Euroweld, Stola Group and ITCA, called Turinauto spa. For the New Company, while keeping position in Voestalpine Euroweld, I was appointed Vice President and Member of the board of the Automotive Division for three years, identifying additional opportunities and other acquisitions able to improve performance as per the "mission" of the Group, aiming at realizing "body in white".
