Giuseppe Spadafora is Chairman of Anthilia SGR, Managing Director of Yafa SpA (Holding Company of Gruppo Vittoria Assicurazioni) and sits on the board of Vittoria Assicurazioni, where he is also a member of various board Committees. He is also Chairman of R&S Advisory, Vice Chairman of the board of Fondazione di Studi di Storia dell'Arte Roberto Longhi in Florence and member of the board of Circolo Vela Sicilia in Palermo.Previously he has been member of the board of Yarpa SpA and Yarpa Investimenti SGR, Vice Chairman and CEO of Cassa Lombarda, General Manager for Italy of the BNP Paribas group, General Manager of Banco di Sicilia, Vice President of Finance at Omnitel (now Vodafone Italia) and Managing Director & Senior Financial Officer at Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase). He started his banking career in 1983 at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in Milano and New York. He has also sat on the board of Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, Cardif Italia, Arval, Banca UCB, PKB Private Bank and of ABI, AIBE, Assbank.Born in Palermo in 1954, after graduating in Business Economics at Università di Palermo, he pursued further economics studies at the London School of Economics, where he obtained a Master of Science in Economics, and at Harvard University.
