Starting from the idea inception of a brand new SaaS / mobile solution aimed at bothEnterprise and Professionals market segments, I’ve been responsible of thefollowing:● Business Case construction: market research and competitive analysis;● Defining the Market Positioning and Messaging working with Gartner Analystsand PwC Partners;● User Experience requirements definition and Solution Architecture design (iOSand Android mobile apps, network and HA back-end system infrastructures);● Human and Technology resources planning;● Product Exhibition on international stages: TechCrunch Disrupt in SanFrancisco (USA), Apps World in London, TechCrunch Disrupt in Rome, SMAU in Milan, etc.● Pitching to prospect Investors and Partners .● The solution eventually won the nation-wide first edition of the Startup Pitch Competition at the WebMarketing Festival in Rome in 2014 upon pitching the solution to a jury of Investors,Analysts and Startup Incubators.

Participated in the company bootstrap from 15 to over 50 employees. As CTO, Imanaged to:● Cooperate at the definition and implementation of the business strategy;● Establishing workflows and executing resources planning for the technical team;● Expand the business relationship with our major customer (world-classmessaging infrastructure provider) to a broader domain leading to new projects;● Actively support the acquisition of our second major customer (major player inSatellite Communications and Intelligent Transport Systems), expanding from afirst trial with a 2-developers team up to a 16 members team and switching thebusiness model from consultancy to turn-key projects;● Ensure business continuity for projects in three different domains (mobile telco,ITS, public admin), on a dozen concurrent projects, distributed on all 5continents supported by a technical team of about 40 members at peak time.

I was responsible of the Service Line that provided Professional Services and managed System Integrations projects.Duties and Responsibilities:* Manage the process of answering to RFPs/RFQs, either directly or coordinating proper teams devoted to these tasks;* Coordinate development teams for System Integrations projects;* Manage technical customers relationships and be first reference contact point for System Integrations possibilities and projects;* Identify areas of interest for Professional Services to be offered;* Identify, case by case, proper personnel for various Professional Services opportunities;* Responsible for adding new personnel to the team basing on company's strategy and prospective opportunities in the Professional Services area;* Responsible for identifying proper training paths for personnel in my team;* Manage the activity of each of our consultants with respect to the customers.For these duties I directly reported to the CEO.

This role was kind of a continuation of the previous one covered in ASENET. I've been responsible of the Technical standpoint in answering to several RFP/RFQ for potential projects whose final customers where international and Italian mobile operators.Then, while still acting as a Solution Architect, within new projects I got also responsibilites of Technical Project Management.

In this experience I've been serving as a consultant in a worldwide renowned network infrastructure provider, working on projects whose customers where both Italian and international mobile operators.Projects involved different areas like Billing&Charging, Push-to-Talk services and IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem).

Part of a team responsible to design and implement OSS management tools for different Nortel Networks core network elements.Among the projects there has been a pioneer IMS SIP server able to control and enforce traffic policies for individual data flows through the control of network elements like GGSNs.

My first position. Started as a junior developer and passed through extensive training.I was involved in very large projects (70+ people) and earned wide experience as a C and C++ developer in UNIX platforms. I also had the chance to widely experience with Object Oriented Analysis/Design/Implementation methodologies and techniques.
