Attendance at Defect Calls, Global Meetings and Go-NoGo decisions. Testing of both equipment (Motorola, NEC, LG, Sony Ericsson, Lucent, Nokia) and network (Ericsson and Siemens/NEC) to verify proper operation and responses to specific faults. Use of Tektronix Protocol Analyzer to provide powerful monitoring of UMTS signaling network. Use of Rohde & Schwarz spectrum analyzer for examination of signals in the frequency, code and time domains. Simultaneous Multi-layer Protocol Measurements at Multiple Different Interfaces Creation, gathering and management of terminal’s defects using dedicated tools (Test Director, Star Team, etc), vendors presentation and tracing. Field tests to verify radio coverage and to perform an error analysis in the field checking the terminal's behavior in a real network. Use of NEC ASKA, Motorola RTA-PST, EMP Mslog, Qualcomm QXDM-QPST-QCAT monitoring tools for log analysis. One month experience in Hong Kong, to coordinate field testing activity at Hutchinson headquarter.
