Working closely with globally leading Private Equity funds, I also play a key role in refining and reshaping their investment strategies, both pre- and post-deal. My focus is on industrial engineering, A&D and O&G-related.

• Aerospace & Defense: supported majors European Aerospace-Aviation regulators and industrial players in the definition of the future Advanced Aerial Mobility (e.g. Delivery Drones, Flying Taxies) national ecosystem.
• Industrial: procurement cost optimization for an OEM at SKU level, including Forex and market dynamics impacts, Identification of cost improvement initiatives by using levers such as design-to-cost, should costs.
• FS: Commercial DD on a leading Italian ICT player (0.5 €Bln Revenues) for a foreign PE Fund
• Automotive: reshaping of retail value proposition for a leading manufacturer, digital technologies impact assessment (AI, IoT, Big Data, XR), evaluation of dealers performances, PMO and coaching delivery for a leading.
• Energy&utilities: Market sizing and mapping of ssLNG solutions in a series of target countries, strategic assessment (+governance and operational restructuring) of major (0.7 €Bln Revenues) italian recycle player.

• FII Tech Growth (now Fondo Tecnologia e Crescita) is a Milan based fund investing expansion capital in technological SMEs and late stage startups originated in Italy, with the goal of supporting their growth.
• To conduct necessary financial analysis to support the evaluation of potential investments and of potential exits of portfolio companies;
• To monitor the portfolio companies business and financial performance;
• To perform research and analysis functional to the exit process of the portfolio companies;
• To manage and expand the deal flow database;
• To create regular and ad hoc reports, investment memorandums and fund raising presentations.

This in-company experience was part of the 6-month final project-internship in order to graduate.My role was to help BizSpark in scanning and evaluating potential startups to enroll in the BizSpark Plus program. The project was also concluded with a report on how to modify eligibility parameters to better embrace the Italian Startup Ecosystem.
