Currently assigned as Technical Customer at Henkel Adhesive division for the Solar industry. The position lays at the tipping point between product development(R&D), production(operation) and business development (BD). Globally we support the PV industry developing high efficiency solar cells and PV modules deploying conductive/isolation inks and electric conductive adhesive (ECA) as innovating solutions.My daily work consist to interact with customer on site or remotely providing solutions to Henkel’s customer on adhesive products used in the solar industry.Problem solving, DOE analysis; strong insight of the proprieties of the material and its applications together with clear communication, negotiations and mitigation skills are the pillars of my job. It is important to creating a zone of comfort for the clients in order to gain trust thus having access to vital information for the successful consulting and the solution of the problem. A continue dialog with the R&D team is essential during all the phases of a formulation regardless it is at the development stage, the lunch of a new products or the modification of a commercial one. Knowing the language of the product developers (PD) is crucial to translate the needs of the clients – usually physical proprieties like color, conductivity; viscosity; rheology, etc..- into chemical compounds, dosages and reactions. Finally, the synergy of knowledges between products, vendors and the strong relation with the clients is q valued support for the business development unit acting as a technical-sales for new products, technology solutions or new market opportunities.
