About Giuseppe Malatino

Spirit of observation, passion, study, training and specialization, gave me the opportunity, since 2009, to be part of many important complex projects about: hotellerie, commercial, industrial, road and railway infrastructure, healthcare, sports, food and real estate.An important professional focus of mine, has always been project management. Training, in-depth knowledge and experience, on: project, tender, account and BIM, management, allowed me to develop, together with teams I’ve been part of, important projects in the civil engineering, of public and private construction fields.My background in engineering (civil, construction, structural and seismic), is also about having designed many complex buildings’ structures, in reinforced concrete, prestressed reinforced concrete, steel, wood, also and especially with seismic isolation (friction pendulum system).During the construction phase, of almost all the structures designed, I also held the construction supervision and safety manager roles.All phases of the work, from conception to maintenance, passing through construction, are managed by work team I'm part of, made up of over a dozen engineers and architects, on B.I.M. (Building Information Modeling), through some software including AUTODESK REVIT and ROBOT, SAP 2000, MIDAS GEN.So, my personal skills, specializations and professional interests, concern:- Project management- Business development - Tender management- BIM management- Project control- Cost control- Negotiation - Commercial management and development- Structural engineering, in team with architects and designers, for the design of very complex shapes- Innovative techniques for engineering- Seismic isolation - friction pendulum system- Supervision of works and management of the life cycle- Safety management.
