Financial reporting is done against Dutch and Belgium GAP (statutory) , for Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (US Owner) reporting is done against US GAP.

For these internal and external clients I was the first point of contact. I was leading a team of 4 FTE in Netherlands and 2 FTE in Germany.My main focus was Maersk Ship Management with the responsibility for the maintenance of 60 internal container vessels and 12 external ferries. I was responsible for the full accounting of the international standards (IFRS), the internal standards (APM GAP) and the reporting.

This included setting up the companies in the new structure (of Maersk Line) and transferring all to the new accounting systems Scala and SAP.
Several positions, mainly on the Reporting Department of the Fleet Management Division. Started as an employee who was responsible for updating the Cash to Master expenditure of the vessels. Then became the Team Leader (3FTE) of the Reporting Team in the same department, which was responsible for the budgeting and analysis of the Charge to Trade of Port & Canal dues, Bunkers and the Daily running costs of the vessels.
Daily check of all incoming cash and credit card statements. Accounts receivable for customers of the Marine department who purchase via invoicing.
