My name is Joe Maione, and I am a junior at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. I am a hard-working, caring individual with good time management and communication skills, and I am eager to expand my professional knowledge in finance.I am majoring in Finance and AIM (Accelerating Ingenuity and Markets—CFA Track), which is a major unique to Marquette. Through a rigorous curriculum using cutting-edge financial technology and real-world experiences like valuing/pitching stocks and managing a portion of Marquette’s endowment fund, the AIM program offers ambitious and accomplished students an engaging hands-on experience in finance. I hope to take my experience learned through this coursework into a professional field, but I am particularly interested in wealth management, asset management, financial advising, and consulting.Outside of the classroom, I am involved in Marquette’s club hockey team as a forward. I have been on the team since my freshman year, and as an upperclassman, I intend to apply for a leadership role.This past summer I interned for Wingspan Development Group in Mount Prospect, IL. WDG is a full-service real estate development and investment firm that is currently active in IL, WI, and FL. At Wingspan, I assisted the development team with financial modeling, market analyses, and internal reporting.
