I'm a digital media expert with the foresight to anticipate the global growth of digitally transmitted content, specialized in corporate strategy for new media, recently focusing on Broadband media. Strategic foresight has allowed to be an integral part of many first steps in the media industry.In previous years I have gained a considerable experience in the development and management of Business Units aimed at localising international brands and concepts, joining together the requirements of multinational companies with the need to develop products and contents closely linked to the Italian environment and audience. As the CEO of Multithematiques Italia Spa, part of Vivendi/Canal+ Group, I have been supervising since 1997, in a totally autonomous manner, the management and design of 6 channels of the Tele+ platform: Cinema1, Cinema2, CineClassics, Jimmy, Planet and Caccia & Pesca. I have developed a highly flexible management pattern, based on the outsourcing of certain resources from a system of horizontal service teams and vertical product teams. I have also developed a profitability model based not only on the typical revenues of the pay-tv market but also, in the commercial area, on carters and joint-ventures with other media, such as the Web, free-to-air syndications, VOD environment and F.A.S.T. channels.
