We have a mosaic of knowledge and skills on conducting research and evaluations, documentation and capturing lessons, as well as communications and visibility. We are advocators of accurate data which highly determines the success of learning from experience. We also have a strong belief that only proper documentation of implementations can lead to an effective experience capitalization. Most of all, lessons and experiences are valuable only when creatively made visible and communicated with the right tool to reach the right audience.

Internews Rooted in Trust is a global pandemic information response program countering the unprecedented spread of rumors and misinformation related to COVID-19. I worked as a Content Creator for the RiT 2.0 South Sudan for a short-term assignment, and my specific tasks include creating and developing contents, graphic designs, layout designs for publications, animations and creative presentations, and video productions.

A consultant at Fair and Sustainable (F&S) Ethiopia, I am mainly engaged in documentation and communication of development projects, particularly focusing on knowledge management assignments. I do publication of stories of change, including graphic design and illustrations, as well as web design and online content management. Experienced with quantitative data collection, management and analysis, I have worked on various assignment relating to monitoring and evaluation, assessments, studies and researches using digital tools, such as AkvoFlow, KoboToolbox, and ODK.Nine year of experience as a consultant at F&S have given me the opportunity to work for and with organizations and projects, such as AgriProFocus Ethiopia, Sesame Business Network (SBN) Ethiopia, DairyBISS Ethiopia, SNV and its BRIDGE and GRAD II projects, CARE Ethiopia, ICCO Cooperation (part of Cordaid), Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD) on its EDAC project, and so on. Moreover, I am also engaging in the EU funded RESET Plus Innovation Fund (Innovation for Resilience) as Documentation and Communications Specialist.

AgriProFocus is an international network of professionals and agribusinesses focusing on agricultural development via co-creating, linking, learning, and networking activities with over 20,000 international members in 14 countries and over 2,000 members in Ethiopia. As the Communication Facilitator of the Ethiopia Country Network, my major tasks include managing the online platform (agriprofocus.com/ethiopia); curate/moderate posts and contents by members; manage affiliate Social Medias; prepare and disseminate monthly e-newsletter; write event reports and articles; organize and coordinate events - annual network days with average participants of 120 per year, finance fairs in different regions 2-3 times a year for average participants of 300 people, bi-monthly Business Drinks for average 80 different network members per event, and invite media and mobilize journalists.In addition, I have also engaged in knowledge management tasks in projects which AgriProFocus implemented, such as the Food Security and Rural Entrepreneurship Fund, handling documentations as well as co-writing and coordinate publications, including books such as "Agricultural Innovators in Ethiopia: Lessons from the FSRE Innovation Fund" and "Contract Farming in Ethiopia: Concept and Practice".The AgriProFocus network program has transformed to the Netherlands Food Platform in December 2020.
