Jaycee was born and raised in North Ogden, Utah. She danced and tumbled competitively growing up and cheered competitively at Weber High School. She served a mission at the Mormon Trail Center at Historic Winter Quarters in Omaha, NE for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2014-2015. She is a performer, a choreographer, and a tumbling coach. She choreographed solos, duets, and teams for Infinity Dance and Dazzle Dance 2017-2021. She graduated from WSU with Honors and a BA in Art and Dance in the Fall of 2020. She received several dance scholarships while attending WSU including: 3 full tuition dance waiver scholarships, the Dance Alumni and Friends Scholarship, the Joseph and Ellen Eccles Scholarship, and the Patti O’Neal Memorial Scholarship. She also received dance awards at WSU including: A Creative Award on Moving Company, a Dance Leadership award, and an Outstanding Student Performer award. She has studied and performed various styles of dance including Modern, Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Country Swing, Aerial Arts, Musical Theater, Tahitian and Ballroom. She trained with Raymond Van Mason at the Imagine Ballet Theater for 4 years and performed in the Nutcracker. She performed in Odyssey Dance Theater's Halloween production of Thriller for 6 years. She danced with a chainsaw in Hackenslash at Lagoon's Frightmares in 2018 and danced with the BlowUp KingZ (BKZ) breakdance crew in Hackenslash in 2019, 2020, and 2021. She performed in 150+ shows as an acrobat in Lagoon’s Big Top summer night show in 2019. She performed in WSU's Modern dance production, Orchesis, for 5 years. She performed with WSU’s Moving Company 2017-2018. She was chosen to represent WSU at ACDA and performed a modern dance solo she choreographed in 2019. She performed as a dancing shepherdess in NEXT Ensemble’s operatic Christmas production, Amahl and the Night Visitors, in 2019. She was a featured dancer in Footloose in high school and a featured dancer in Mamma Mia, Newsies ASL, and Freaky Friday at the Ziegfeld Theater 2019-2021. She performed in 2 seasons of Tahitian dancing with Ori Tahiti Syracuse 2020-2021. She was P!P POP, a game show host, and a featured dancer in The Super Best Totally Awesome Extra Amazing Game Show at Lagoon in the Summer of 2021. She performed in Moments of Grace with a professional religious, contemporary dance company in 2021. She was a wolf in Illume Dance Company’s production of Narnia. She performed 6 works in Lemontree’s professional dance production, Dancing Through the Stillness in the Winter of 2022.
