I’ve held a range of marketing and communication roles in the private, non-profit, and most recently in government sector managing all things social media for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).From developing strategies for Fortune 500 companies, TV shows, non-profits, local businesses, and more; I have a knack for growing and developing programs through collaboration and innovation. There are two concepts that have stuck with me along the way:1.) I am a curious learner. I love to solve problems and learn new things. Whether it is helping a customer turnaround their sales numbers, finding the latest tactic to separate you from the competition, or simply seeing the world for the first time (ask me about my travel adventures!). I love new challenges and enjoy discovering what lies around the corner.2.) I am all in. This may sound cliché, but I enjoy what I do. Working in the agency side allowed me to take pride in knowing that I was helping to grow a variety of businesses. Working in the renewable energy industry has given me inspiration each day to help grow an industry that improves lives, short-term and long-term. And at CISA I’m able to give back to our nation. Outside of work I stay active through sports (Hockey and Basketball), hiking and backpacking, and anything that gets the adrenaline pumping. One of my strengths is competition - I love a good board game or most anything where I can compete. Always wanderlust and looking for tomorrow night's dinner recipe. On to the boring bragging stuff....Orgs that I’ve worked with: CISA (Obviously!), DHS, ABB, Solar Power International, Energy Storage International, North America Smart Energy Week, Sportsman Channel, Flitz Polish, Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, Felins USA, and more.
