Delivering Technical Assistance to enhance capacities of the Government departments in Child Friendly Governance; and building alliance with Civil Society Organisations, Corporate Foundations, Academic Institutions, Research Organisations and Youth Collectives for developing child friendly model villages and cities.Achievement: Designed and offered web portal through software engineer (volunteer) to provide access of rural governance information to more than 100,000 elected local leaders and functionaries, and millions of people.

Worked with Concern India Foundation as consultant, managing partnership with NGOs in Kerala and other States through CSR partner funding with positive impact in 25,000 floods affected people’s lives. Achieved capacity building of teams and government frontline workers through online training for social survey using Google Form. Managed large scale database analysis, contributing to selection of the right vulnerable households for flood recovery benefits.In 2019, designed and conducted a study on scope of sustainable energy in disaster management cycle in five States* of India for SELCO Foundation, Bangalore. Advising and mentoring role working with team on strategic planning for Rupantar - a program to transform state education system.

Responsible for leadership, program delivery and operations management, particularly for Quality Education Project, a partnership initiative with an international organization and government entities in Gujarat state. Led and managed team, including matrix management of the donor agency’s managers. Established funding strategy and increased funding portfolio by 173% in one year. Responsible for leading the expansion of AusAID and NZAID funded country’s largest targeted gender-sensitive HIV prevention program (comprised of 5 projects) working with vulnerable groups in 4 provinces. Led collaboration with colleagues at Save the Children Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America for proposal development and fund raising. Managed AusAID funded gender specific sexual health improvement program in security sensitive rural and urban areas of Eastern Highlands Province.Achievements: Established public health clinics as centers of excellence with innovative appointments system, and enhanced government department capacity for sustainability. Selected as resource person, and guided team in high flood emergency response in West Sepik Province. Achieved promotion (through competitive process) as Program Manager.Positive impact: More than 10,000 vulnerable people (especially women) had direct, and approximately 500,000 people of the province had indirect positive impact.

February 2007 to March 2008 (1 year, 2 months), Project ManagerManaged turning around of the off-track DfID funded ‘Right to be Heard’, Oxfam’s erstwhile largest governance improvement program (with integration of livelihood, micro-finance and self-help group activities) through 7 NGO partners working in multiple provinces.  Achievements: Economically disadvantaged people’s inputs incorporated into national poverty reduction policy and budgeting. Exceeded program objectives, as commended by the donor in the final evaluation.Positive impact: Approximately 20 million people living below poverty line had potential benefits from strengthened national poverty reduction policy, and the governments and NGOs had enhanced capacities to deliver the benefits.May 2005 to December 2006 (1 year, 7 months), Program Manager (West Timor and West Papua)Responsible for managing ECHO and internal funded emergency public health programs through working with country, regional and headquarters colleagues. Managed multi-disciplinary team of expatriate public health coordinators, national civil engineers, public health promoters, and finance, human resource and logistics officers. Working with regional team experts in Bangkok, developed and executed communication and media strategy as per the European Commission standards. Achievements: Proposal development and fund raising, timely project completion, before-time submission of the donor reports, and donor appreciation of the project outcomes and impact. Led Northern and Central India program from Jaipur (Rajasthan). Managed Disaster Emergency Committee UK funded earthquake response program working with 4 NGO partners in Gujarat and ECHO funded emergency drought response program with 6 NGO partners in Rajasthan.Achievements: Demonstrated innovation in terms of designing and executing social audit by communities in drought response program. Selected as a team member to reach emergency site within first 48 hours as part of Tsunami emergency assessment and response. Received promotion as Acting Zonal Director.Positive impact: Approximately 20,000 children affected by earthquake in Gujarat had direct positive impact, and the community members affected by drought in Rajasthan and Tsunami in Tamil Nadu had direct and indirect positive impact.

Implemented multi-sector earthquake response program in Kutch district of Gujarat State.Achievement: New learning and beginning of career in humanitarian program.Positive impact: Earthquake affected people had access to water, sanitation, shelter and livelihoods inputs.
