The TIC twin turbo system went on to power Ford Mustangs to the fastest emissions legal quarter mile times as tested by Car Craft magazine for any production-derived car in 1992, with a 1/4 mile performance of 12.2 sec@122 mph. This was truly outstanding 'legal' performance for the era, and had not been seen since the unregulated musclecars of the 1960's.
