As an Executive Leader with 13 years experience as a college dean, I employ values-centered leadership, with a focus on fostering the success of faculty, staff, and students. In my role, I frequently collaborate closely with university leadership, the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, and alumni to develop and allocate resources for the establishment of a new and independent academic colleges (College of Education and the College Architecture, Art and Construction). This involves strategic allocation of financial, space, personnel, and other resources to ensure the college's success.I provide oversight for a diverse team of 75+ full-time, tenure-track, lecturers, and clinical faculty, as well as 29 staff members. Together, we support an enrollment of over 865+ undergraduate students and more than 1330 master’s, specialist, and doctoral students. In the College of Education our academic offerings include 5 Ph.D. and 1 Ed.D. programs, 14 master’s degree programs, and 10 teacher preparation programs, with partnerships spanning over 150 clinical sites across 24 school districts statewide.In addition, I am responsible for the fiscal administration of a $38M budget and managing an endowment of $15M, ensuring responsible stewardship of financial resources to support the college's mission and goals.
