My responsibilities were to either directly control or influence the entire logistics chain from the Mount Arthur Mine to the Port of Newcastle. The role included;• Undertaking BHPB’s due diligence on the NCIG Coal Terminal’s expansions. Preparing the documentation for submission to BHPB’s Board of Directors• BHPB’s technical representative on the NCIG Coal Terminal Project• Membership of ARTC’s Rail Control Group (RCG)• Statutory responsibilities of Mount Arthur’s Rail Loop• Developing and implementing rail specific Technical Maintenance Plans for the Mount Arthur Mine.• Developing a logistics model to validate BHPB’s Port, terminal and rail allocations

The project was to upgrade the control system and signalling assets across the Sydney Metro area. This included line management of a team of approximately 60 people, and a project budget of $180M.The Project scope included;• The design and construction of a new fibre network across the Sydney Metro area• The design, and construction of two purpose built facilities, the refurbishment of six existing facilities to accommodate, the control systems and personnel.• The replacement of manual signalling systems with automatic digital systems across the Sydney Metro As the Program Manager my main responsibilities were;• Ensuring that all work was executed safely• Ensuring that the design complied with all statutory and environmental approval conditions• Ensuring that the design development process included consideration to make construction and operation as safe as possible• All project reporting to all stakeholders, including the various rail organisations CEO’s, the Co-ordinator General of Rail and the Minister for Transport• Development of all project, stakeholder engagement, procurement, commissioning quality and risk management plans.• Reporting and monitoring of all budgets, forecasts and independent reviews• Ensuring the various stages of the project were correctly resourced with internal and external providers• All commercial and tender negotiations

This included line management of a team of approximately 20 people, numerous subcontractors, and a project budget of $86M.The Project Scope included;• The design and construction of a new Microwave Network from Newcastle to Brisbane• The design, and construction of one purpose built facility, the refurbishment of two existing facilities to accommodate, the control systems and personnel.• The replacement of manual signalling systems with automatic digital systems in approximately 30 locations across the state As the Program Manager my main responsibilities were;• Ensuring that all work was executed safely• Ensuring that the design complied with all statutory and environmental approval conditions• All project reporting to all stakeholders, including the various rail organisations CEO’s, the Co-ordinator General of Rail and the Minister for Transport• Development of all project, stakeholder engagement, procurement, commissioning quality and risk management plans.• Reporting and monitoring of all budgets, forecasts and independent reviews• Ensuring the various stages of the project were correctly resourced with internal and external providers• All commercial and tender negotiations
