• Provide Desk Side support services to end users when incidents cannot be resolved remotely through the Service Desk.• Provide HW Break & Fix support services to end users when hardware incidents need a replacement of defective whole unit by an equivalent one.• Provide Asset Tracking services for Schneider workplace equipment. Ensure CMDB is updated to reflect required, accurate data for new equipment deployments, equipment reassignment, equipment returns, etc.• Provide Eyes & Hand support to operate technical task requests on infrastructure equipment, and under control of the remote administration team.• Provide on-site support for server maintenance upgrade activities.• Perform pro-active and on-demand health check of IT systems including, but not limited to: printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, and video conference equipment• Manage and resolve user queries and issues recieved at walk-up IT desks (TechStops).• Provide White-Glove support for VIPs / Senior Executives.• Provide L1 support wherever required for specific services / applications.• Provide technical support for digital and f2f special events such as annual meetings, Board meetings, training sessions, for both internal/external end users.• Perform and support hardware and software IMACDs, installations, updates and downloads for desktops, laptops, smart phones/tablets and other mutually agreed devices as per Schneider standards.• Coordinate with external vendors for service of location infrastructure components.• Provide installation / relocation / disposal of network printers.• Deploy and manage non-network attached printers, storage devices and miscellaneous peripherals.• Provide secure location for storage of on-site tapes.• Training end users on how to operate office automation equipment as requested.• Provide physical on-site and/or remote support services for end users in remote locations.

• Provide timely hardware and software related support to the computer users within the Group in order to meet business processing requirements.• Perform preventative maintenance on the computing resources in order to optimize computer performance and availability of computing infrastructure.• Support the system administrator with data backup and recovery tasks on the file servers in order to maintain the information consistency and availability in accordance with Group IT policy.• Collect, document and keep track of all IT assets in order to keep IT inventories up-to-date.• Provide the end users (our customers) with a positive experience in order to establish their trust on IT services and provide their feedback as a source for improvement.• Coordinate with project manager on execution of project activities in order to compliment and contribute in-house on project based initiatives.• Prioritize calls in case of emergencies where it is not visible to go as per the set procedure.• Evaluate and recommend vendors for various IT hardware and software procurements.• Communicate with Group IT management to report and take instructions on high severity incidents, escalations, new system deployments/rolls-outs.• Communicate with IT users on visits and meetings to understand their needs as well as to test and install hardware and software.• Communication with 2nd level IT Support to seek support on backend system changes and coordinate on projects.• Communicate with software and hardware suppliers to handle RMA requests, coordinations on support calls.
