About Gregory Kading Cfa

I love to work with entrepreneurial early to mid-stage businesses in the areas of financial planning and analysis, investment analysis, and financing. My focus is on helping companies understand the financial impact of strategic and tactical decisions. I help companies identify and concentrate on the few key metrics that matter to improve performance. I am often the first financial professional to work within the company, frequently establishing financial planning processes and corporate infrastructure to allow companies to move to next level of growth. Recently, I was head of finance for a venture backed bio-technology company in which I led the company’s development of support processes. My work enabled the company to execute on the commercial launch of its first product. In this role I closed financings totaling over $50 million, hired and mentored key staff in accounting, HR, and IT, and implemented an ERP system while the company grew from 4 employees to 65 employees. Previously, I was a two time President’s club winner with a predecessor company to CenturyLink while working in a variety of finance positions. While there I led the financial planning for the company’s entry into Cable TV services and ultimately became the business unit’s CFO. I have also served as an adjunct instructor in finance at Metro State University in Denver and Arapahoe Community College. I am a CFA charter holder, and earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University, and an M.B.A. degree from Creighton University.
