Voices for Children transforms the lives of abused children in San Diego County by providing them with volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). I've advocated for a family of five from their teens through their 20's, a teen mom on her own, two elementary age siblings who reunited with their parents, a small baby who was taken in by his distant relative and elementary aged brothers who want to live with their grandparents . Voices for Children believes that every child deserves a safe and permanent home, and to that end, aspires to provide a CASA to every child in the foster care system who needs one, monitor every court file in the system, and advocate to improve the lives of San Diego County's foster children.
