Gary R. Kollar passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 29, 2014.Gary graduated from Eastern Christian High School in North Haledon, NJ. He went on to earn his bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Gary was employed by Honeywell for 29 years and more recently by ITT Exelis for the past 5 years.Gary loved being busy, indoors or outdoors. He could always be found doing two or three projects at a time at home. He loved sports (Lakers and Cowboys), travelling, attending concerts, walking his dog, doing yard work, floating in the pool, performing a "good deed for the day"​, and spending time with his friends. Gary excelled at building long lasting friendships with people he truly cared for. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for a friend.May his memory be eternal.

Performance of all the functions necessary to coordinate and manage repair, modifications and upgrades under various contractual program requirements. Developed, managed and executed to align cross functional IPT teams to succesfully design, develop, propose and deliver large scale Blackhawk avionics for key DoD customers with $18M in yearly revenue. Virtually managed a software development program with yearly revenue in excess of $4M.

Program Manager responsible for key military fixed and rotary wing programs with 4 direct reports.In charge of production spares, repairs and engineering support ranging from $4-8M in yearly revenue.

Expertise in support of military electronics programs endeavored to develop new processes, used manufacturing methods to maintain design integrity, improved upon producibility and minimize costs. Successfully influenced and interacted with all levels of management.

Increasing responsible Engineering and Program Office positions on design, production, repairs and technical support
