Lead the integration of APS initiatives and projects of major scope or significance; and facilitate community engagement in such endeavors.Illustration of work:• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) of critical APS initiatives/plans/projects to facilitate improved project management;• Collaborate with key APS stakeholders to explore the nature, purpose, and scope of critical departmental/interdepartmental projects, or multi-school initiatives, to assist stakeholders refine justifications, priorities, deliverables and milestones;• Provide project management coaching throughout the project management lifecycle and provide related advice/assistance;• Build and maintain webpages for a one-stop access point for all APS planning projects;• Serve as an initial point of contact for community stakeholders regarding planning projects;• Develop and implement a wide range of innovative, relevant and effective techniques to engage the Arlington community and mobilize community assets, strengths and resources in the APS decision-making process concerning IMS-listed initiatives/plans/projects.

Arlington Public Schools

Distribute high-profile, essential and emergency information about APS programs and initiatives to a diverse audience of students, families, staff, and the community at-large. Develop and implement strategies to inform and engage the public about major initiatives, important events, and divisive issues in APS.
