Design and test EDI data Translation maps and type trees for military trading partners using IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX).

Worked with the LMARS team, part of DLA Transaction Services at WPAFB. Designed and maintained reporting utilities in VBA, pulling data from Hyperion and Access and presenting results in Excel and Word formats.

Designed and tested embedded code for the Bullseye line of machine-control laser detection instruments. Added code adaptations for harsh user environments, extended battery life, and communications between devices. Developed several PC-based test applications for use on production lines. Also performed duties of system administrator/help desk, with responsibility for purchasing and maintaining company PCs and servers.

Joined the Weigh-Wrap software group in order to develop the SP600 Deli Scale and the Automatic Wrapper/Labeler. Redesigned portions of the user interface and label formats for the SP600 Deli Scale.Updated an existing Compact Label Applier (CLA) and adapted the code for a newly designed MLA model.

Helped design the flagship data acquisition system, the SPS-8000, with responsibility for the “Data-Mover” function at it's core. Developed Daytronic’s first software application written in Visual Basic, a test program that controlled several Daytronic test instruments installed on the customer's production line.
