As a project coordinator for GNTX Farm Success , I develop collateral for virtual and in person workshops/events with the purpose of connecting farmers, ranchers and communities through education and resources. Creating event pages on our website and distribute information through social media platforms. Collecting and analyzing the success of our programs through surveys and result verification systems. Providing farmers with information they want and can apply to their business. Ongoing training allows me to grow my agricultural knowledge as I learn what challenges farmers and ranchers face in the food production industry as they adapt to changes in the environment and adapt their practices. Similarly, GNTX Giving Grove affiliation supports sustainable agriculture education and training while providing food deserts and food insecure communities with fresh local fruits, berries, and nuts. Identifying orchard sites and incorporating sustainable soil, water, and pest management along with other conservation practices. As a project coordinator I work along side other stewards for different sites to ensure health and production of the orchards.
