• Recruiting and induction of and contractual staff, casuals and interns. • Record management-filling process, HR forms and sign off process. • Leave management as per company policy. • Medical and wellbeing-staff clinic, management of medical schemes, sick off approval etc. • Casual management-casual payment process and documents, rules and regulations, statutory deductions, duration as per law, spot checks and training. • Employee wellbeing-staff uniform and laundry, cleanliness in the staff canteen, staff transports management. • Employee communication- communication forums, employee notice boards, and suggestion box. • Employee relations- attending works committee meetings, staff welfare, warning letter administration, processing workmen’s compensation. • HR planning- general understanding of FTE numbers, paymaster usage, payroll details, updating and completeness of the system (HRIS).• Performance management- performance appraisals, balance scorecards. • Rewards and benefits management- salary increment process (Payroll Change Advance) and minimum wage compliance, allowances, recognition schemes- star rating, employee of the month and gratuity computation.
