About Gladys Wong
Hi! I’m Gladys, a recent integrated design graduate with a particular interest in interaction and experience design. I am a creative thinker, eager to take on new challenges and apply my problem-solving skills from a design perspective. To me, the power of design lies in its ability to improve an experience, be it visually or tangibly. With my wide range of knowledge and skills in visual, digital and product design, I am passionate about creating innovative ideas and attractive designs. I was born and raised in Singapore and moved to Seoul to study design. Over the past 5 years that I’ve spent in Korea, I’ve won a total of 10 awards for my design works in my college department, graduated summa cum laude and gotten a black belt in Taekwondo. Outside of the classroom, I’ve kept myself active in various sports and in my community. In particular, I invested my time and effort over 3.5 years in the Yonsei Foreign Student Union (FSU), where I was able to make a difference in the international student community by helping others adapt to their new environment in Korea and university. As the media team leader and subsequently president, I was able to hone my communication skills and grow as a leader and team player. I also had the privilege of meeting people from diverse backgrounds which has helped broaden my worldview and formed valuable friendships.I am currently looking for an entry-level design position.
