I manage relationships. It is what I do - it drives me! If I believe in your products or services, I am all in! I love helping companies create a client focused environment. I enjoy delivering high-quality products and services while supporting and improving internal processes and external relationships. I am analytical and detailed oriented. My goal is to make sure your client is satisfied, grow your business, while most importantly managing and minimizing your company’s risk. I currently manage a full cycle contracts process including red-lining service contracts, providing an executive summary of contract changes, and corresponding with our attorney. I also make sure that the contract data input in our CRM is right so that accounting can invoice clients and pay contractors correctly. My most recent success is returning to school! In May of 2022, I obtained a Paralegal Certificate from Guilford Technical Community College. I had thought about it for years, and decided to take classes during COVID because why not? I figured I could either stream movies or read/study for knowledge. I have always been intrigued with law, most importantly with ensuring the disenfranchised are represented. I have a finance degree; however, my first job out of college was with a major bank in its Bankruptcy Department. Shortly thereafter, I was promoted to manage a team of eight individuals. I am interested in using my paralegal skills to volunteer within my community. In 2022, I volunteered with the NC Bar Foundation’s 4ALL Statewide Service Day. I screened telephone calls and sent those calls to attorneys that could best answer the caller’s question. I look forward to finding other ways to volunteer in the future. I have over 20 years' experience in retail and wholesale credit underwriting, risk analysis, and documentation/audit/contract management working in financial services. My first credit job was underwriting luxury coaches – I'll admit it was and has always been my favorite vehicles to finance! I have also underwritten truck and construction credit for individuals, small businesses, and dealerships, and managed floor plan inventory while also developing and supporting relationships with manufacturers. I was successful in managing an equipment finance wholesale portfolio of more than $250M, with my largest account of $26M, and grew my equipment finance lease line portfolio each year. All while presenting to the Executive Credit Committee in the boardroom.I look forward to mentoring and developing others in the financial services field.
