Current responsibilities include the acquisition and execution of requirements for Epic System’s EMR data here at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. I work specifically for Research and have fueled tens of manuscripts and publications by bridging what is available in the Hospital’s databases to my customers' research needs. Some doctors have been kind enough to include me as a co-author for publications. My current skill set requires a thorough knowledge of the hospital’s clinical data, the organization and quality of the data, ETL and reporting tools, lighter knowledge of the research at hand, and much of the facilitating technologies, management activities, as well as a variety of analytics required of a report analyst in a research environment. I am a key person that facilitates translational research from clinical data at Lurie Children's. Predicted growth will be further into data warehouse design/implementation and bio-statistics. Over my career, I have had wide and occasionally deep work experiences that cover almost every facet of information technology. I’ve managed people (including off shore), sizable projects and production systems.
