CTO of the company InstaGIS, which was later rebranded as Civic Brain (and ultimately to Predictable Media).In that capacity I had the responsibilities listed below. Besides those I helped the CEO & founder with strategy definitions and changes.Regarding management:- Create the technology department and reorganize the existing team members.- Handle software engineers recruiting and selection, processing hundreds of jobs applications.- Improve development workflow using agile methodologies.- Mentor engineers.Regarding technology:- Design and oversee development of the new technologies required to provide services to customers.- Design and develop InstaHub, the core software behind the company's new developments and services. It is a REST API programmed with Python, Django, PostgreSQL and PostGIS, among others.- Teach and enforce good practices for development and deployment such as static code analysis, automated testing code coverage, continuous deployment, and, in general, follow the 12-factor guidelines (https://12factor.net).

- Development of a data model for the mutual funds research group.- Implementation of the data migration to the database.- Research and implementation of a portfolio management model.

- Helped to solve an issue with a medical supplies assembly machine of Becton, Dickinson & Company (BD).- Designed and programmed, from scratch, the latest generation of Avtex’s core propietary software, using Cognex VisionPro library.- Received training for the InSight product line at Cognex heaquarters (Natick, MA)
