• Developing a retail currency trading product for MAC OS X Mavericks using Objective C. The user interface has optimized data binding for minimization of screen painting and effectively uses GCD for multithreading. The charting package extensively uses layers and animation while outperforming the commercially available application by at least 100%.• Embedded code on a SPARC core microcontroller used to control a HVAC system with a custom iOS application, which communicated with the SPARC over WIFI using REST and open source. • Transitioned software and infrastructure technology.• Led co-location of the Alpharetta operation to New Jersey.• Automated daily activities to streamline business operation.

• Architected and produced a highly extensible foundation class that was greatly leveraged in building all business class objects used to produce each revenue stream.• Designed and coded a best in class C++ client / server trading platform used to run our entire company which had multiple server farms at collocated facilities in New York and New Jersey. The platform was a built upon a proprietary IOCP multithread engine which would configure itself based off of machine hardware at runtime for optimization of throughput and load balancing. • Implemented multicast quote servers for the NYSE, NASDAQ, ARCA and OPRA data feeds. Each quote server would perform line arbitration between the primary and secondary data lines. The combined message rate of all the servers was around 2,000,000 messages/sec and grows daily. • Integrated with multiple broker dealer ordering systems via TCP/IP protocols. Most of the systems were their own proprietary protocol. An optimized open source implementation of the Financial Information eXchange protocol was used to connect with several brokers.• Engineered the data structures for the entire market to reside in < 800 MB in memory. • Developed a Windows Server 2003 32-bit UDP multicast driver to ensure 100% data delivery of packets.• Helped vendors spec out and improve their products to meet our requirements.• Delivered a user friendly client application with optimized screen updates, charting and the most unique and efficient interface to trade spreads.• Produced a proprietary backtesting application using C++ and COM to interface with Excel thru VBA. This application would consume historical data from our internal data warehouse, which allowed us to test new and alter existing business strategies without taking any risk. Mentored business colleagues on how to code using VBA.• Researched and developed a FPGA model so we could offload the NIC and driver workload from the CPU.

• Traded equities, options and futures. • Developed and optimized computer trading algorithms.

• Traveled to Germany for the installation and training of the custom UNIX simulation model. • Converted several smaller tools into a large scale UNIX based engineering simulation product for Bayer, AG. • Coordinated a team of 5 developers and managed the relationship with Bayer’s Project Manager located in Germany.

• Led a team of 5 developers delivering an engineering toolbox application to a consortium between BP Oil, Chevron and Texaco. The toolbox allowed for quick design and sizing of various equipment such as pumps and heat exchangers.• Helped negotiate the sale of the company to Simulation Sciences, which was a NYSE company. • Designed and developed a 3D model for evaluation of chemical and refinery safety systems. The model results populated an ODBC database and produced Crystal Reports for the EPA. • Made a custom OLE unit conversion control to enable quick and easy input of engineering data. This control was used extensively in all projects

• Managed the programming of the control system. • Performed both hardware and software maintenance while working with operations to improve unit uptime, product quality and production.

• Made simulations and evaluated several existing unit designs for potential capital improvements.• Prevented installation of unnecessary heat exchanger saving $300K.
