The Localization department is based in Brisbane and some of my roles include:-Team Leader of the Red Hat Network Software project for the last 4 years where I managed 12 translators of different languages in Brisbane-Australia and in Pune-India. -As a team leader I negotiated with the writers and translators for a realistic and effective deadline, organized a web page where translators would report the writing errors to be corrected and updated in real time.-Internal training of translators for the Certification RHCT: Red Hat Certified Technician. -Development of a specific glossary of IT words in English and Portuguese.-Interaction with the Fedora Communityin Brazil and in AustraliaTranslation and Proofreading of the Red Hat course handouts for the Brazilian market-Translation and Proofreading of Jboss online material-Translation and Proofreading of Marketing Material including internal and promotional videos-Verification and correction of the Portuguese language on their website, checking if it is up to the expected web standards and usability of Portuguese consumers.

CONIP is an IT event based in São Paulo focused on e-gov (government softwares and solutions) which gathers more than 2.000 attendees and has been happening for the past 12 years. Some of my roles included:-Management of International and National Speaker's agenda to take part in the event.-Design and development of Marketing Materials-Delegate's list management-Management of the whole event's structure (buffet, stage, decoration, staff, among others) -Supervision of two events assistants-Supervision of Casual staff during the event days

GDS International specialises in industrial and business management journals for the world's markets and has events based on their journals. They brought their famous Enterprise Latin America event to São Paulo – Brazil, and I was hired from the first day to give high level support to the General Manager in regards to hiring new staff, settling the office, language interpreting and managing the event. The office was based inside the American Chamber of Commerce's building and so it was their event held for 2.000 delegates . Some of my roles included:-Interpreting and translating the Regional Director of the Company.Bookkeeping -Sales and Telemarketing staff Recruitment-Translating the marketing materials distributed in the show-Office Management-Assistance to International Speakers -Events Management-Link between the American Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo and GDS in order to get better deals.-Design and Development of campaigns for the ELA event.-Implementation and Management of a call center to publisize the ELA event.
