I led technology operations at Beachbody, a $1 billion company with ~1000 employees. This included infrastructure, automation and release engineering, database administration, and security operations. Beachbody is the creator of the nation’s most popular in-home fitness and weight loss solutions including P90X®, Insanity®, T25®, and 21 Day Fix® among many others. Beachbody programs combine challenging workouts with easy-to-follow diet guidelines, nutritional supplements (including the breakthrough health shake called Shakeology®, aka “The Healthiest Meal of the Day”), and an unparalleled customer service and peer-support network.

- Responsible for all network and telecommunication operations globally, including 4 data centers and 7 call centers that support 1,500 agents and over 1 million calls monthly.- Migrated all call center staff in UK to the ECS global telephony platform to provide centralized call recording, analytics, and administration capabilities.- Implemented Cisco Nexus switching infrastructure across global data centers; migrated 2,000 servers from legacy switching platform for scalability and 20% operational cost savings.- Implemented the systems, network, and telecommunications infrastructure to support Identity Protection products for a retail client with 40 million customers impacted by a security breach.- Led PCI remediation efforts across network and telecommunications groups globally. This includes security scans, penetration testing, and controls audits.- Implemented network and telecommunications platforms for Costa Rica and Brazil operations. - Selected to the Experian Business Network, an executive leadership group comprised of top talent focused on developing next generation leaders.

Kelley Blue Book is a leading provider of automotive values and operates the #1 automotive website in the country, KBB.com. - Responsible for all technology infrastructure and operations, end-user support, reporting and infrastructure automation. - Implemented a Service Management platform across Kelley Blue Book IT, Software Engineering, and Business Operations Groups. This platform became the model for AutoTrader.com and subsidiaries.- Implemented IT Governance best practices and controls in preparation for AutoTrader.com IPO.- Created DevOps team which automated the deployment of infrastructure resources with custom software, reducing the time to deploy code for kbb.com by 50% and reduced deployment related defects by 75%.- Created and execute a virtualization plan that transformed the technology infrastructure to over 85% virtual at the end of 2011, including a ‘Virtual First’ policy for all new systems and applications.- Implemented a new data center and technology platform for the kbb.com website and led a cross departmental group to re-architect the website for greater scale and manageability. - Reduced operating and capital expenses by 25% from 2007-2011; deployed agile technologies and renegotiated service provider contracts that returned over $1MM dollars annually to the company.- Lead a cross department team implementing ITIL best practices across the Kelley organization, including Incident/ Problem/Change management. Created and distributed reports to senior management, tracking the performance of products against key performance indicators.

AutoCentro was a venture-backed provider of used vehicles to the Hispanic community. Modeled after CarMax, the company had large inventories, combined with a no-haggle pricing approach and various financing options.- Led all technology initiatives including application development, operations, data acquisition, reporting, vendor management and infrastructure.- Created company website and SEM/SEO campaigns to drive cost effective lead generation against current inventory of pre-owned vehicles.- Implemented enterprise accounting and inventory systems that managed acquisition and disposition of vehicles, A/R, A/P, invoicing, sales and taxes.- Implemented a CRM and sales automation application that served as the primary interface for customer service, sales and management.- Deployed end to end technology infrastructure including networking and telecommunications.

- Led a team of 40 responsible for infrastructure operations, enterprise reporting and business systems.- Accountable for $6 million operating budget and mission critical information technology operations for customers that comprised over 75% of US new franchised car dealers.- Led the Sarbanes-Oxley remediation effort for the Information Systems group and worked closely with auditors, executives and business unit managers to implement process improvements.- Implemented data warehouse and improved reporting tools to provide business unit managers with sales, finance and customer information more readily.- Maintained 99.9% availability across all web sites and business-critical systems including several high-transaction applications with significant performance and scalability requirements.- Implemented a change control and release management process that improved productivity, systems stability and business unit visibility into IT.- Created a 24x7 Network Operations Center and implemented monitoring and escalation processes.- Achieved savings of $1.2 million over 3 years by renegotiating contracts and canceling projects that were not in-line with business priorities.- Led the technical due diligence and integration efforts for 3 acquisitions into the Autobytel infrastructure.
