After realising that I am not going to make it as an underwater welder (but I still hold out hopes of becoming a helicopter pilot one day!) I decided to make a life for myself with my wife, son & ageing dog on the French Riviera.I've had to rethink my career massively with this change, and moved from a solid background in Sales (B2B, B2C face-to-face & over the telephone) to more hands-on roles in hospitality, painting & decorating, event management, driving and provisioning. When I couldn't find any work one winter I started my own business & took on several painting and decorating projects. I’m now trying my hand at e-commerce selling biodegradable products @ https:www.EcoFestival.euI'm enthusiastic outwith the workplace too, and when I'm not working I like nothing better than coaxing my 40 year old Volkswagen Campervan into life & enjoying a weekend away in the surrounding regions.
