I form part of the MFSA's project mangement function, recently setup to oversee the successful implementation of a portfolio of projects, ranging from large complex initiatives, to small tactical interventions aimed towards aligning the financial regulatory functions with the latest developments within the industry. Main responsibilities include the following: - Enabling the transfer of project needs into project actions;- Change management including the identification/resolution of conflicts and critical project dependencies; - Supporting business unit project owners in redesigning their business concepts and support both the planning and implementation phase of the project;- Setting up and coordinating all internal working groups and managing resource allocation, and planning and scheduling the project timeline; - Keep a track record of projects in progress and ensure timely completion;

Administration Unit

Planning, coordination and control of the day to day operations management of the MFSA. This includes the general upgrading and upkeep of facilities within the premises, management of supply/service contracts and the procurement of products, services and equipment with the aim of constantly upgrading the Authority’s physical and intellectual property, whilst ensuring cost-effectiveness and sound procurement practices.

Reporting to the Director of Traffic Management, my primary duties encompassed the management and EU Funds for a Portfolio of Projects, ensuring their proper allocation, management and disbursement of funds across a range of projects . This involved close collaboration with the Planning & Priorities Coordination Division (PPCD) and the Treasury Department to facilitate timely disbursement of funds. Additionally, I was involved in the direct supervision of projects including on-site supervision, drafting of progress reports as well as managing procurement processes. Other duties included, the analysis of road safety statistical data and the coordination of educational efforts.
