At Société Générale, I spearhead daily operation of the asset servicing back-office for the Wealth business; and middle office functions for UK Funds/Sovereign Wealth businesses. My duties include holding regular meetings, set objectives, and prepare yearly appraisals, whilst spearheading the team. I am responsible for the branches data extract for annual IRS 1042 and 1099 reporting. My task is to oversee performance of outsourced asset servicing functions running in different countries, including UK, France, and India. My job is to effectively identify and resolve processing and system issues and highlight items with CASS or SRDII impact through incident supervision.Among my projects in this role:• Assisted data integration into client's system through 'end of day' files and organised corporate action and income segments processing of Wealth platform (Figaro).• Maintained consistent and easily understandable notification format for complex events by setting up and testing a corporate action notification/instruction tool.• Ensured minimal financial discrepancies and regulatory compliance, whilst formatting procedure documents, system user guides, and internal/external controls regulating daily activities on both back and middle office sections.• Followed semi-automation process to formulate US 1042S tax reporting, resulting in reduced time and resource requirement by 75%.• Recorded annual US tax reporting's (1042s and 1099) within the allotted timeframe on regular basis.• Identified suitable data vendor and managed process of data integration.• Conducted system regression testing for patch and annual software releases to detect defects and improve use experience.• Performed Ad hoc system testing for new services/products such as InterAction and carried out End of Day reporting.• Researched and implemented various new services, including proxy voting, tax reclaims, and book cost apportionment.

My duty was to manage end-to-end processing of all non-UK corporate actions solely, whilst providing quality services within specified deadlines. I was responsible for compiling daily Client Money Report (CMR) involving reconciliation of 7 General and 5 Dealing Ledgers.Following were my potential performed tasks:• Spearheaded transformation of Euroclear corporate action functions from Settlements team to Corporate Actions team, including report capture, instruction input, and verification.• Introduced additional checking reports to maintain 100% success rate for event capture and instruction processing via Euroclear.• Maintained meticulous record to ensure zero unidentified stock breaks on overseas holdings.
